I’m Gabriel (or Gábor in Hungarian), the founder of Cybersadhu—and I’m so glad you’ve found your way here. This page is a little window into who we are, what we’re about, and the deeper roots of this brand. My Journey: From Budapest to the Banks of the Ganges

I grew up behind the Iron Curtain in the final years of communist Hungary. Life was relatively safe and convenient—but even as a kid, something felt... missing. I couldn’t name it, but deep inside, a quiet yearning was already stirring. Without even knowing it, I was searching for something deeper.

Fast forward a few years, and I found myself on the backpacker trail in India—hungry for answers, desperate for meaning, and determined to uncover the truth behind this strange thing called existence. But from the moment I arrived, Mother India started teaching me her first lesson: patience.

I returned many times, crisscrossing the subcontinent, spending long stretches in ashrams, visiting sacred sites, and sitting at the feet of wise teachers. Over the years, I began to understand that the real prize wasn’t some earth-shattering mystical experience—it was knowledge. A special kind of knowledge that could change the way I live, how I see the world, and how I feel in my own skin.

The Roots of Cybersadhu

Eventually, I found my spiritual home in the profound teachings of Advaita Vedanta and Yoga. These two paths—while distinct in some ways—complement each other beautifully. They’ve brought harmony, clarity, and deep joy into my life. And they’re at the core of what Cybersadhu is all about.

The concept for Cybersadhu grew organically from my travels, studies, and inner shifts. Along the way, I fell in love with the legends of ancient rishis, yogis, sadhus, and philosophers—those spiritual adventurers who dared to go beyond the known. The wisdom they’ve passed down through the ages has reshaped my life, and I feel a deep pull to share that with others.

In the meantime, in a curious parallel to the wandering lifestyle of the sadhus, I had become something of a global nomad myself—traveling around the world, living in different countries for a while, and taking on all sorts of odd jobs to fund my next journey. Over time, London, UK—one of the world’s great global hubs—emerged as my base. And it was here that the idea of turning my passion into a business slowly began to take shape.

At some point, I realized: I could fuse my passion for graphic design, spiritual philosophy, and casual streetwear into something unique—a brand that expresses timeless truth on the wearable canvas of a T-shirt.

Where We’re Headed

This business has been slowly brewing in the background for years—and now, finally, it’s come to life. And this is just the beginning. New designs inspired by the rich world of Vedic spirituality are constantly bubbling up in my mind, so expect fresh drops and meaningful merch to keep coming.

Cybersadhu is here to grow—not just as a brand, but as a movement. One that brings sacred wisdom to our modern streets, yoga studios, festivals, and beyond.
